Mark began working for Glasco & Co. full time in February 2011, serving in the Landscape Construction side of the business.  He holds a marketing degree from the University of Houston and has been a Texas License Irrigator since 1985.

 

His involvements in the landscape industry began as a summer only job in Plano Texas in between college semesters at the University of Oklahoma. The enjoyment of working outside and changing the landscape of new neighborhoods begin to take hold as a possible career. In 1978, with the economy booming in Houston, an opportunity to work full time in the landscape industry became available. He made the move, all while working during the day and attending night school at the University of Houston. Over the past 30 years his link to the green industry has moved him from contracting to distribution to manufacturing and back to contracting.  He enjoys the challenge of creating a lasting outdoor living space and landscape which customers can enjoy.

 

Mark and his wife, Corina, enjoy living and working in Washington County. They enjoy spending time with their kids and grandkids, volunteering at their church and working with the Brenham Citizens on Patrol. When they can, traveling in Texas to the beaches, hill country and the lakes are their relaxing times.
