With Glasco’s since 2001, Melissa started her career with the company in the garden center at Glasco’s Gardens and Gifts, then transferred her skills to Glasco and Co Landscaping in 2006.  She worked in plant purchasing and greenhouse growing - helping to support & establish the growing landscape installation portion of the company. She then transitioned to landscape design and estimating in 2008, which further broadened her already substantial skillset.

Melissa’s eye for design, extensive knowledge of horticulture & local flora, and desire to help distill her client’s landscape hopes & dreams into reality, allows her to successfully transform any landscape into a new creation.

Melissa began as an art major in college. She switched to floriculture at Texas A&M, graduating with a B.S. in 1992.  It was there she met her husband Henry, also on the Glasco’s staff.  Both are passionate about plants and garden design, so naturally they have extensively landscaped their home in Brenham.  When not working in their yard, they enjoy travelling to gardens, nurseries, and other outdoor and cultural destinations. They have one son, who enjoys similar pursuits.
